Rates and Deposit Policy
• Babysitting services are charged at $10 per hour.
• A $15 refundable deposit is required at the time of booking, which will be applied toward the first hour of babysitting.
• For emergency bookings (within 48 hours of the session), a $16 refundable deposit is required.
• Deposits are fully refundable in the event of cancellation by the babysitter or the client if canceled at least 24 hours in advance.
Payment Methods
• Invoice via Stripe: Payments can be made via credit card or bank transfer through our secure invoicing system powered by Stripe, a platform trusted by the world’s biggest companies. Invoices will be sent electronically and by mail after the session.
• Cash at End of Session: Bills must be paid at the end of the session. We accept cash payments, and a paper copy of your bill will be provided, printed using our mini printer for clear and concise billing.
• Cash App: Payments can also be made through Cash App. Our username will be provided upon request for your convenience.
Booking Procedure
• Sessions must be booked at least 2 days in advance.
• To book, click the “SCHEDULE A SESSION” button at the top of our website.
• In the event of cancellation by the babysitter, the deposit will be fully refunded.
Emergency Procedures
• For minor injuries, such as cuts or scrapes, basic first aid will be provided.
• Emergency services will be contacted if necessary, and parents will be notified immediately.
Behavior Expectations
• Children are expected to engage in respectful behavior, including no harm to the babysitter, siblings, pets, or property.
• Positive discipline methods, such as time-outs, will be used when needed, with prior parental approval.
Activities
• Activities will be customized to the child’s preferences and developmental needs, ensuring a fun and engaging experience.
Screen Time Policy
• Screen time is available with the purchase of the $8 Entertainment Package.
• If a provided tablet is damaged, the following applies:
• If repair costs are under $2000, a $100 fee will be charged, covered by AT&T Home Tech Coverage.
• If repair costs exceed $2000, AT&T will cover $2000 and the remaining amount will be billed to the client.
• Example: If the broken iPad’s purchase price is $2500, AT&T will cover $2000, and you will be responsible for $500.
• Audio documentation of the damage assessment is available upon request.
Feeding and Meal Policies
• Parents may leave a food budget or provide food for their child during the session.
• Food budget selection must be made during booking to ensure proper meal arrangements.
Transportation
• Babysitting services will be provided at the client’s home for the comfort and safety of the child.
Privacy and Confidentiality
• All personal and sensitive information will be treated with the utmost respect and confidentiality.
Device Charging Policy
• Devices required during the session (such as tablets) may be charged, with a minimal electricity cost based on a rate of 100 watts per hour, amounting to approximately $0.012 per hour of use.
Liability for Child’s Actions
• The babysitter is not responsible for any damages or destruction caused by the child to the home, personal property, or pets during the session.
• Parents are solely responsible for any damage caused by the child during the babysitting session, including but not limited to damage to furniture, electronics, appliances, and other household items.
• In the event of damage caused by the child, the babysitter will notify the parents immediately. Documentation of the incident (photos or written description) will be provided if necessary.
• Babysitters are expected to make reasonable efforts to manage the child’s behavior, but they are not liable for uncontrollable or destructive actions beyond their supervision.
Babysitter Safety Policy
• Home Environment: Babysitting services will only be provided in a safe and secure home environment. If the babysitter feels unsafe or threatened for any reason (unsafe conditions, inappropriate behavior, etc.), they reserve the right to leave the premises immediately. In such cases, the session will be canceled without refund.
• Behavioral Boundaries: If the child exhibits violent or harmful behavior toward the babysitter (physical harm, verbal abuse, etc.), the session may be terminated early. The client will still be charged for the time worked, and additional fees may apply if the babysitter’s property or personal items are damaged.
• Supervision of Other Adults: Babysitting sessions must be performed in the absence of any unauthorized or unapproved adults. If additional adults are present without prior notice, the babysitter reserves the right to cancel the session immediately without refund.
Health and Wellness Policy
• Illness Protocol: Parents are required to disclose any illnesses the child has prior to the session. If the child is sick and poses a risk to the babysitter’s health, the session may be canceled or rescheduled. Failure to disclose this may result in cancellation without refund.
• Vaccination Status: Parents must confirm that their child is up to date on all required vaccinations. If not, they must disclose this to the babysitter in advance. The babysitter has the right to refuse service if there are health concerns.
End-of-Session Safety
• Drop-Off and Pick-Up Protocol: If parents or guardians are not home by the end of the scheduled session, the babysitter may charge additional fees for the extra time spent waiting. If after a reasonable amount of time (e.g., 30 minutes) no one has arrived, the babysitter will contact emergency services.
